Where wellbeing lives.

Spaces for people to live comfortably, close to health and care settings.

What is Hyve?

Hyve’s core accommodation is a combination of one, two and three (subject to specific location) bedroom apartment units, all built with sustainable, energy efficient and functional building design that meets minimum space standards. Hyve apartments come with key furniture items and fitted appliances.

The challenges Hyve solves

  • Addresses high demand for desirable, affordable accommodation for key workers
  • Enhances recruitment of health and care staff, to attract, retain and support domestic and international key workers
  • Provide a sense of place and community for key workers within their locality
  • Rental agreements and residents fully managed by Hyve, removing demand risk for NHS trusts
  • Enables key workers across all seniority to live in a place they can take pride in – a space that feels like home

Our new keyworker accommodation looks amazing. The first staff are moving in and already we are approaching 90% occupancy.

NHS Trusts and ICSs

Provide desirable key worker accommodation.

Discover how partnering Hyve could help you attract, retain and support health and care professionals by giving them a desirable place to call home. Hyve’s accommodation can support a trust and ICS to develop  the future of health and care in its locality, providing a place where people can find wellbeing in the community they live in, in a space they feel at home.

Open the door to key worker wellbeing

Supporting the health and wellbeing of key workers goes beyond what you do in the workplace. NHS trusts turn to Hyve by Prime to provide sustainable and desirable living environments that enable health and care professionals to be connected to their community – whether that’s a hospital campus or a short trip to the town centre.

to Hyve

Develop

Prime can utilise or acquire land on, or close to, NHS estates, or land owned by the Local Authority. Once developed, Hyve becomes the accommodation operator as a not-for-profit company. Our aim is to ensure the land fee is such that we can assist in keeping rents affordable for all key worker residents.

Design

Prime will take on design, development, construction and finance risk. Apartments will be new builds unless existing accommodation can be refurbished to suitable standards and quality.

Manage

In operation, Hyve will fully manage the accommodation and take demand risk – no lease or nominations agreement is required from the NHS or ICS.

Deliver

Hyve can benefit NHS trusts and the whole ICS they’re part of by offering quality, sustainable and liveable housing provision that is focussed and affordable for health and care key workers.
